A lovely family living in Steeple Morden, close to Royston, are seeking a reliable and experienced Housekeeper to join them from the 1st of June.
Offering 10 hours per week, this can either be worked over 2 or 3 days depending on the candidate’s preference. Ideally, the days worked are not consecutive.
The main duties will include full cleaning and tidying of the home, laundry, ironing, cooking and regular changing of the beds. From time to time you may also be asked to do some cooking, dog walking or childcare (there are two young children in the home). A keen eye for detail and pride in your work will be essential in maintaining a well-presented and well run home.
The family are seeking someone with previous experience working in private households, who understands the level of discretion, professionalism, and care required in such environments. You should be reliable, self-motivated, and a self starter.
This role is offered on a self employed basis.
Location: Steeple Morden, nr Royston
Minimum Experience Level: At least two years as a Housekeeper and ideally childcare experience too.
Required Training: Enhanced DBS (update) and 12-Hour Paediatric First Aid
Required Qualifications: No specific qualifications specified
Work Hours: 10 hours over 2 or 3 days (not consecutive)
Driving Required: yes with own car
Job Start: 1st June – long term
Pay: £20 gross per hour
