Starting in October 2025, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a warm, caring, and experienced part time nanny to join a lovely family based in Saffron Walden.
They are seeking someone kind, nurturing, reliable, and fun-loving who is looking for a long-term role and keen to become part of their happy household.
You will be caring for their two children -2 and 5–but primary care for the 2 year old during the day whilst the older daughter is at school.
Main duties will include taking the little boy out and about (the family home is walking distance to the town) following their current routine which includes a nap (ideally at home), preparing meals for the children and school pick up for the little girl whose school is walking distance.
The hours required are 815am-515pm Monday and Friday but one of the days can be swapped out for a Thursday if preferred.
The family would like their children to grow and develop through a wide variety of stimulating and age-appropriate activities. This includes educational and creative play at home (reading, singing, puzzles, arts and crafts, imaginative play, baking, etc), as well as regular outings such as countryside walks, playdates, music classes, library visits, farm trips, and soft play sessions. An understanding and genuine passion for child development would be appreciated.
