Starting in May, a wonderful four-day opportunity has become available for an experienced and caring nanny to join a professional and friendly family known to Harmony at Home, in Cambridge CB4.
The hours worked Monday – Thursday would be 830am-7pm/ 42 hours per week.
There is a lovely little boy who is 2 who would require your care to begin with (though mostly pick up and drops off from nursery) as mum is pregnant and expecting her next child in early June. Once the baby arrives you will have shared care of both children until mum goes to work after around 6 weeks, when you will have sole charge care of the newborn. Recent and confident experience of young babies is required.
As the baby grows, the family would like a balanced approach to development to help them reach their milestones. This should include plenty of fresh air and walks and attending local activities, groups and playdates to make friends, so a nanny who is sociable and proactive in planning will be ideal.
The family would like someone reliable, punctual, discreet, caring and gentle. They would like the nanny to focus on intellectual stimulation and the education of the baby. Someone who respects and can adapt to the family preferences around childcare. All usual nursery duties would be expected.
A confident driver is essential though a car can be provided.
The family is planning a few trips abroad (for work and private) and would like the nanny to join where possible so someone open to travelling away from home would be advantageous.

Minimum Experience Level: At least two years as a nanny, newborn experience also essential
Required Training: Enhanced DBS (update) and 12-Hour Paediatric First Aid
Required Qualifications: Qualified to CACHE level 3 or 4 ideally
Work Hours: 830am-7pm
Driving Required: Yes, and there is parking
Pets: Two well trained grey hounds
Job Start: May start – 1 year contract
Pay: £45,000-55,000 gpa
This is a permanent job/ Fixed term for one year
