Starting as soon as possible, a wonderful three or four day opportunity has become available for an experienced and caring nanny to join a professional and friendly family in Brampton.
The hours worked will ideally be 8am-6pm but there is some flex here for the right person.
You will be caring for one delightful baby girl, aged six months and a newborn due in September. Mum and dad run a business together and are very busy but as mum will be mainly working from home, she would like the opportunity to also spend some time with the nanny and her daughter attending a group each week together for example.
The family would love to find someone who is very experienced – particularly with babies – if you have been Norland trained this would be a plus! A nanny who can hit the ground running and who is proactive and intuitive would be ideal.
As the baby grows, the family would like a balanced approach to development to help the little girl reach her milestones. This should include plenty of indoor activities such as reading stories, singing, puzzles, and imaginative play, as well as time outdoors, including walks and trips to the park. The parents are keen for her to attend activities, groups and playdates to make friends, so a nanny who is sociable and proactive in planning activities will be ideal.
A confident driver is essential and ideally you will have your own car.
As well as general childcare, you will also be responsible for some nursery duties, including preparing healthy home-cooked meals for the baby, keeping her areas organised and tidy, and managing her laundry. Any help with small daily tasks such as emptying the dishwasher and making sure all toys are tidied away at the end of the day would be appreciated. You should have full knowledge of weaning and potty training.
The family do employ a housekeeper who comes twice a week so you would need to work collaboratively with them too,

Driving Required: Yes, and there is parking
Pets: A dog – ideally you would be happy to let the dog out though no feeding or walking would be required

Pay: £17-20 gross per hour
