A compassionate and experienced maternity practitioner is required to support a family with their 4-week-old baby in Cheshire.
The family are currently going through a particularly challenging time, as their older child is in hospital and is expected to return home within the next few days. They are looking for overnight support to enable them to rest and recover while also focusing on their older child’s needs during this important transition.
The baby is thriving, was born via Caesarean section with no complications, and is currently breastfed but is also happy to take a bottle. The ideal candidate will be warm, empathetic, and highly experienced in newborn care, with the confidence to provide reassurance and seamless overnight support.
The family are currently unsure how many nights of support they will require, so flexibility and availability will be important.
A key aspect of this role is discretion. The family would like their older child to be unaware that an additional person is staying in the home, helping to ensure their return home is as calm and smooth as possible. Candidates must be able to work sensitively within the family’s routine.

Location: Wincle, nr Macclesfield,
Gross hourly Rate: £20ph gross
Hours of work: 10pm -6am approx
Nights required: Up to 6 nights week
Specialist or expert required: Qualified Maternity Practitioner
Minimum experience Level for this job: 5yrs experience within the role
Details of any qualifications needed for this job: 12hr First Aid, Enhanced DBS, Maternity Practitioner (L3 minimum), Safeguarding L2.
