First-time parents are expecting their baby in early to mid-June and are seeking an experienced and compassionate maternity practitioner to provide full-time support, five days per week, following the birth. At this stage, it has not yet been confirmed whether the baby will be delivered via C-section.
The ideal candidate will be flexible, knowledgeable, and confident, with strong experience in supporting a mother during the postnatal period, including guidance throughout her breastfeeding journey. The family are looking for someone who is supportive, empathetic, and hands-on, while also respecting their parenting preferences and empowering them to make informed choices for themselves.
They are eager to learn from an experienced professional who can offer reassurance and practical advice while maintaining a gentle and collaborative approach. The successful candidate should be up to date with current newborn care guidelines and confident in advising on safe sleep practices, gentle routines, feeding techniques, and postnatal recovery support.
