Website Harmony at home Maternity
A lovely opportunity for an experienced Maternity Practitioner to support first-time parents as they embark on their exciting new journey into parenthood.
The family are looking for a warm, knowledgeable and nurturing practitioner who can provide a reassuring presence during those precious early weeks, helping them navigate the newborn stage with confidence and enjoy this special time together.
Mum is hoping to breastfeed but is also keen to introduce bottle feeding when needed, so experience in supporting both feeding methods would be ideal. She is hoping to return to work relatively quickly, meaning there may be occasions when the Maternity Practitioner will be in sole charge of the baby. The family would therefore love someone who is confident and capable of taking the lead with all aspects of newborn care.
As first-time parents, the family are keen to learn as much as possible from their Maternity Practitioner and would really value someone who enjoys sharing their knowledge, offering practical advice and gently guiding them through the early stages of their baby’s development. They would love support in establishing a gentle, age-appropriate routine that works well for the baby and the family as a whole.
The ideal candidate will be experienced and confident with newborns, with an up-to-date understanding of NHS guidelines and safe sleep recommendations. They will be calm, approachable and supportive, with the ability to build a lovely relationship with both parents and work as part of a team.
Above all, the family are looking for someone who will offer not only excellent newborn care but also the reassurance, encouragement and knowledge to help them grow in confidence as new parents.
This is a wonderful opportunity for a caring and experienced Maternity Practitioner to make a real difference to a first-time family, supporting them through one of the most special and memorable chapters of their lives.
