First-time parents are looking for an experienced Night Nanny to provide overnight support for their 6-week-old baby.
The family have previously had the support of a Maternity Practitioner and are now looking for dedicated night cover. They would ideally like someone who has experience with young babies and can help establish positive sleep habits and routines as the baby grows.
The ideal candidate will be experienced, nurturing, empathetic and flexible in their approach. The parents are keen to find someone who will work alongside them as part of a team, rather than taking over, while also being confident and capable of working independently overnight.
When the baby settles in the early evening, the family would appreciate the Night Nanny helping with some light nursery duties, such as restocking nursery supplies, keeping the nursery tidy and organised, and taking care of the baby’s laundry and ironing if the baby is settled and time allows.
The family are looking for someone who will become a trusted and supportive addition to their household and provide calm, knowledgeable care throughout the night.
Job Start Date: As soon as possible
Contract End: Mid December 2026
Location: Rickmansworth, Herts
Gross hourly Rate: £25ph gross
Hours of work: 7pm -9am (12 hours is also acceptable)
Nights required: Sunday night to Friday Morning
Specialist or expert required: Certified Maternity Practitioner
Minimum experience Level for this job: 5yrs experience within the role
Details of any qualifications needed for this job: 12hr First Aid, Enhanced DBS, Maternity Practitioner Certificate (L3 minimum).
