Role: A flexible Maternity Practitioner is required for a newborn expected in January. The family intends to spend several weeks bonding with their baby prior to the practitioner’s start date. While the specific support needed has yet to be determined, assistance will involve a combination of day and night shifts. The successful candidate should possess expertise in breastfeeding support and establishing gentle routines..
Candidates with a background in Childcare are preferred, particularly those who can thoughtfully engage older siblings, who are eagerly anticipating the new arrival.
Please note some weekend work may be required and there may be travel included in this role.
Job Start Date: February 2026
Length of Contract: 6 months (may extend)
Location: Pembury, Kent
Suggested hourly rate: £25ph
Hours of work: Days or Nights
Days required: Monday – Friday (possibly some weekend, but agreed inadvance)
Specialist or expert required: Qualified Maternity Practitioner
Minimum experience Level for this job: 5yrs experience within the role
Details of any qualifications needed for this job: 12hr First Aid, DBS and Maternity Practitioner (L3 minimum).
