Harmony at home Maternity

Role: A family expecting their third child in February 2026 is seeking an experienced practitioner to provide support with their newborn. The ideal candidate will demonstrate extensive expertise with newborns and possess a warm, nurturing, and dedicated approach.
With the mother planning to return to work soon after the baby’s arrival, flexibility, composure, and discretion are essential qualities. The candidate should be respectful of mums wishes and follow her ques. The baby will be breastfed and then topped up feeds, as this was a successful routine established with their older children.
The family is enthusiastic about welcoming their newest member. A full-time nanny will also be present to offer additional support during the practitioner’s breaks throughout the day.
The family also have a house in Oxfordshire and often spend weekends there.
A team player is essential.
Job Start Date: 9th February 2026
Length of Contract: Up to 6 months
Location: Notting Hill, London
Suggested daily rate: Starting at £400pd
Hours of work: 20hrs (plus 4 hr break)
Days required: 6days x 20hrs per day
Specialist or expert required: Qualified Maternity Practitioner
Minimum experience Level for this job: 5yrs experience within the role
Details of any qualifications needed for this job: 12hr First Aid, DBS and Maternity Practitioner (L3 minimum).
Accommodation provided: Self-contained staff flat with private entrance, kitchen and bathroom. Connected to main house through a lockable connecting door

It is usual for Maternity Nurses and Consultants to be self-employed, and you will be required to issue your own contract for services, Unique Tax Reference number to our clients at offer stage.
