Website Harmony at home Maternity
First-time parents are looking for an experienced Maternity Practitioner to provide night support for their 2-week-old baby. The baby is doing very well, feeding on demand and thriving. Mum is exclusively breastfeeding and hopes to continue, although she may consider introducing a bottle during the night at a later stage.
The ideal candidate will have up-to-date knowledge of current NHS guidance and safer sleep practices, and be confident in supporting Mum throughout her breastfeeding journey. They should also be able to offer gentle guidance around establishing a routine and helping the baby develop positive sleep habits.
The family are looking for someone who is confident, experienced and empathetic, with a calm and reassuring approach. They value a practitioner who can offer knowledgeable advice and guidance without taking over. The parents are keen to remain actively involved in their baby’s care and would like someone who will work alongside them as part of a team, respecting their choices and parenting style.
