: Two Maternity Practitioners needed February 2026, based in Central London
International parents are seeking a Maternity Nurse for their second child, born in early January. They want someone discreet, organised, empathetic, and highly skilled with newborns, who can offer guidance and reassurance as the family adjusts to life with their new baby. Strong communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanour are important, helping parents feel at ease and supported. Its important that the candidate supports the mother with Breastfeeding.
The role would be ideal for someone looking to work 24/2 or 24/5
The family also has an older son, who is excited about his new sibling. Although he attends school, it’s important to involve him whenever possible.
The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the family, adapting to their routines while providing expert care and fostering a nurturing environment for the new baby. There may be travel involved in this role.
Job Start Date: ASAP
Length of Contract: up to 10weeks
Location: Central London
Suggested hourly rate: £18ph gross
Hours of work: 20hr plus 4hour break
Days required: 2x 20hr or 5x20hrs
Specialist or expert required: Qualified Maternity Practitioner
Minimum experience Level for this job: 5yrs experience within the role
Details of any qualifications needed for this job: 12hr First Aid, DBS and Maternity Practitioner (L3 minimum).
Accommodation provided: Bed in the Nursery and also a staff room for day off
Other Staff in the home: Housekeeper
