First-time parents are seeking an experienced Maternity Practitioner to provide expert guidance and reassurance during the precious early months of parenthood. As they prepare to welcome their baby, they are looking for a knowledgeable and nurturing professional who can help them build confidence and feel fully supported in providing the very best care for their newborn.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience supporting first-time parents and will be a confident communicator with a thorough understanding of all aspects of newborn care. Warm, calm, and highly supportive, the successful applicant will respect the mother’s chosen feeding journey, including breastfeeding, while offering gentle guidance to help establish a settled sleep and feeding routine that complements the family’s lifestyle.
You will be confident working in partnership with the family, maintaining a detailed daily log of the baby’s routine and development. A strong understanding of current NHS guidelines and safe sleep practices is essential, along with a willingness to undertake all nursery duties to a high standard.
The family also have a beautiful home in the Cotswolds, where they spend most weekends, and the Maternity Practitioner will be expected to travel with them as part of the role.

Gross 24 hourly Rate: £400pd
Hours of work: 20hrs + 4 hr break

Minimum experience Level for this job: 5yrs experience within the role
