Website Harmony at home Maternity
A first-time mother is expecting twin boys in mid-July, who will be delivered via planned C-section. She is hoping to breastfeed and is seeking a knowledgeable and compassionate Maternity Practitioner to support her through the early weeks of motherhood. This role can be either 24/2 or 24/5.
As this is her first experience of parenthood, and with the added demands of welcoming twins, the mother is understandably feeling overwhelmed and would greatly value the guidance of an experienced professional who can provide reassurance, practical advice, and calm support during this important transition.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience caring for newborn twins and will be confident supporting a single mother through the early days of parenthood. Experience with tandem breastfeeding is essential, along with a sound understanding of how to encourage and maintain milk supply while offering gentle and informed feeding support.
The mother is keen to establish a routine for the twins that feels manageable and sustainable for
her. She is looking for someone who can offer professional advice and guidance without taking over, helping her to build confidence and make informed decisions while feeling fully supported in her new role as a mother.
Please note Maternity Nurse and Newborn Care titles are industry terms, not protected medical titles.
