First-time parents are seeking night support as they begin their journey into parenthood. They hope to find an experienced maternity night nurse who can provide guidance on feeding techniques, baby-led routines, and safe sleep practices. These parents are eager to learn about caring for their newborn while also having the opportunity to rest and recover from childbirth. The mother hopes to breastfeed.
Ideally, the candidate would work 12-hour night shifts for the first two weeks, then transition to 10-hour shifts per night for the following two weeks. The selected Night Nurse should be experienced, adaptable, discreet, empathetic, and possess relatable knowledge and experiences.
Job Start Date: Mid May 2026
Length of Contract: 4 weeks but could extend
Location: Kensington, London
Suggested hourly rate: £25ph
Hours of work: 12hrs per night/10hrs per night
Days required: 5 midweek nights, including Sunday night
Specialist or expert required: Qualified Maternity Practitioner
Minimum experience Level for this job: 5yrs experience within the role
Details of any qualifications needed for this job: 12hr First Aid, Enhanced DBS and Maternity Practitioner (L3 minimum).
