Maternity Night Nurse needed in Cambridge starting in May 2026

Role: A Maternity Night Nurse is needed in May for a family’s second child. A returning client is looking for an experienced, calm, and knowledgeable professional to offer guidance and support during the early months. The mother plans to breastfeed and establish a gentle routine for the baby.
The ideal candidate will be familiar with the latest best practices and possess strong teamwork abilities to support this growing family. It’s essential that the nurse works collaboratively with the nanny and respects the parents’ choices, ensuring they feel supported throughout the process.
There is an older child who is very excited about being an older brother.
Job Start Date: Baby due late May
Length of Contract: 4 months
Location: Chesterton, Cambridge
Suggested hourly rate: £25ph gross
Hours of work: 9pm -7am
Days required: Mon, Tues, Wed and Thurs
Specialist or expert required: Qualified Maternity Practitioner
Minimum experience Level for this job: 5yrs experience within the role
Details of any qualifications needed for this job: 12hr First Aid, DBS and Maternity Practitioner (L3 minimum).
