First-time parents are seeking an experienced, nurturing and qualified Childcare Practitioner with a genuine passion for newborns, infant development and the early stages of a baby’s life to guide and support them through the precious first few months of parenthood.
The family are looking for a highly experienced professional with extensive newborn knowledge and a calm, reassuring manner who can provide expert guidance and help new parents feel confident and supported. The ideal candidate will be fully up to date with current NHS guidelines and safe sleep practices, with a strong understanding of newborn care, developmental milestones and the importance of establishing healthy routines.
A key aspect of this role will be monitoring and documentation of the baby’s development and progress, ensuring that developmental milestones are recognised and supported as the baby grows. The family are looking for someone who is genuinely passionate about understanding infant development, recognising each stage of progress and providing age-appropriate care and stimulation to encourage the baby’s physical, cognitive, social and emotional development.
This is a wonderful opportunity for a naturally collaborative and adaptable professional who enjoys working closely alongside parents, sharing their knowledge and becoming a trusted part of the family during this special time. Mum is hoping to breastfeed, although this will naturally depend on the baby and how feeding progresses, and the successful candidate should be confident in providing sensitive, non-judgemental feeding support in line with the family’s wishes.
Above all, the family are looking for a kind, empathetic and highly organised professional who combines warmth, confidence and discretion with a genuine love of babies and a strong commitment to their care, wellbeing and developmental progress. The ideal candidate will be proactive, attentive to detail and passionate about ensuring the baby is not only cared for but also nurtured, stimulated and supported to thrive during these important early months.
