Nights only Maternity Practitioner needed in Early February, based in Oxfordshire

Role: A busy family anticipating the arrival of their first child in early February 2026 is seeking a highly experienced Maternity Practitioner to provide overnight support during the initial months. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in maternity care, demonstrate professionalism, empathy, and kindness, and remain current with the latest industry guidelines.
The parents intend to pursue combination feeding, enabling both to participate actively in their baby’s care whenever possible. The position requires night-time assistance for three to four nights per week, with an emphasis on expert guidance in establishing a gentle routine to promote the baby’s comfort and well being.
Job Start Date: Early February 2026
Length of Contract: 12 weeks
Location: Brightwell cum Sotwell, Oxfordshire
Suggested hourly rate: £25ph gross
Hours of work: 9pm – 6am
Nights required: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and possibly Wednesday
Specialist or expert required: Qualified Maternity Practitioner
Minimum experience Level for this job: 5yrs experience within the role
Details of any qualifications needed for this job: 12hr First Aid, DBS and Maternity Practitioner (L3 minimum).
Pets in the home: Yes
