A fabulous full or part-time position (can be 3, 4 or 5 days, Monday to Friday) to be part of a fun and informal family including 2 school-aged children.
Both parents work full-time and are looking for a caring, motivated, experienced Nanny/Housekeeper willing to get stuck into running the house, mucking in with all that needs doing including cleaning, caring for and walking the family’s dog, and looking after the children sole-charge after school.
A confident driver is definitely needed, with their own car, for the school runs and the children’s after school activities.
Housekeeping duties:
Laundry / wardrobe management / ironing, cleaning (hoovering, dusting, cleaning bathrooms), preparing an evening meal (vegetarian) for the family, shopping, running errands, walking the family’s small dog, managing tradesman etc.
Child care duties:
After school, caring for the 2 teenage girls; driving them to horse riding, supervising them in the swimming pool etc. The girls are great fun to be around – they do need someone to keep an eye on them, support their routines (possible help with the youngest’s homework) and encourage their independence. They do have some additional needs so SEN experience would be desirable, but is not essential.
The family are laid back and fun, so they are definitely looking for someone to match this. (Their present Nanny/Housekeeper has been with the family for over 3 years). They very much look forward to meeting you!
Location of the job: Billingshurst, West Sussex – the family live in a 5 bedroom house with gardens and a pool.
Minimum experience Level for this job: Housekeeping experience, care of school-aged children and some SEN experience.
Days and Hours of work: Monday to Friday OR 3 /4 days (mid-week); Approx. 8.30am (can consider a later start) to 6.30pm.
Job Start Date: ASAP (April’26)
Job End Date: Permanent position.
Pay: £35,000 to £40,000 FTE (gross)
This is a permanent, daily, sole-charge position.
It would be wonderful if you lived locally to Billingshurst.
