Harmony at Home Limited
A warm, lovely, and down to earth family based in Tulse Hill are looking for a wonderful nanny to join their family from the beginning of November. The role is to care for their two children, a boy aged 7 and a girl aged 5 from Monday-Friday. The salary offered is £23–£24 gross per hour, which equates to an annualised salary of up to £41,561 – £43,368.
The position will be approximately 30 hours per week during term time and about 43 hours per week during the 19 weeks of school holidays. During term time, the family would ideally like someone to work a morning shift from 7.30am to 9.30am for 2/3 times a week, followed by an afternoon shift from approximately 2.15pm to 7.15pm, with some flexibility around these hours. During the school holidays, the hours will be three full days from 8.15am to 7.15pm, along with two afternoons, totalling approximately 43 hours per week.
The family are looking for a calm, nurturing, proactive and energetic nanny who will become a positive and trusted part of their household. The ideal candidate will be confident in setting clear boundaries while maintaining a calm, warm and stable presence for the children. Someone who enjoys being active and sporty would be particularly well suited, as the children love activities including swimming, football, tennis and gymnastics. A nanny who enjoys cooking would also be a lovely bonus, particularly if they are happy to prepare meals for the whole family.
The role will include all aspects of the children’s daily care, including school drop-offs and pick-ups, taking them to their various after-school activities and classes, helping with homework and reading, and managing their evening routines. During the school holidays, the nanny will be responsible for planning and organising fun, engaging and age-appropriate activities and outings for the children. There will also be some light household duties involved, including family laundry, running errands, light cleaning and tidying, as well as ideally preparing meals for the whole family.
Driving is very much desired for this role, as both children will need to be driven to and from school and their various activities. The family do also have an electric cargo bike which could potentially be used as an alternative.
The family have two lovely cats and there is no travel required with the role. They are looking for someone who will really enjoy becoming part of their day to day life, bringing warmth and enthusiasm to their household for the years to come.
