An amazing position for a hands on, practical, homely, traditional couple to become part of the family in a sweet town just outside Ivybridge in Devon.
The family need a couple who has experience in both general handy person and housekeeping. The housekeeping side, the candidate must have experience with general house management, cooking this includes making preserves, chutney’s and pickles as well as general housekeeping duties,. These will include, laundry inc. ironing, cleaning the home and deep cleaning experience. Other duties to include keeping the pantry stocked and running errands. In the home there are 5 children who are under the age of 10 years they need a kind person to be around too.
The family need someone who understand cleaning of fine fabrics and antique items and cleaning using non chemical based products.
The role of the partner would be a general handy person who can put their hand to anything, is good at repairing, understands the importance of bio diversity, permaculture an organic growing as well as knowledge of property maintenance,
The family may also require some driving of family members too.
The family offer live in premises for the right couple.
This is a permanent position and the couple will become a valued member of the team.

Location of the job: Nr Ivybridge, Devon
Minimum experience Level for this job: 5+ years professional experience.
Details of any training needed for this job: Both partners have to have Enhanced DBS and first aid essential before application
Details of any qualifications needed for this job: Experience in working in this setting is paramount.
Hours of work: 9am – 6pm – Flexibility is Paramount.
Days required: Monday to Friday
Pets in the home: Pets in the grounds
Driving required: Drivers essential – own car is essential.
Job Start Date: ASAP
Job End Date: Long term position
Pay: £60-£80k per Annum Gross, this is negotiable depending on Qualifications and experience
