A lovely family is seeking a caring and proactive nanny to look after their 13-month-old daughter in Market Harborough. This role offers flexibility, with both live-in and live-out options available.
The hours of work are Monday to Friday, 9 am to 6 pm. For those opting to live in, the role also includes working an additional day of your choice over the weekend, with the same hours. Accommodation for live-in candidates includes a private bedroom and a separate bathroom.
The main responsibility will be to provide excellent care and nurture the little girl’s growth and wellbeing. The family favours the Montessori method of education and has invested in toys and materials to support this approach in their home. While experience with the Montessori method would be wonderful, it is not essential, as Mum is happy to share her knowledge and guide you in implementing these principles.
Your duties will include planning and organising the little girl’s daily activities, taking her to local classes, and visiting interesting and educational settings. Additional responsibilities include supporting her through her weaning, which has already begun, preparing simple meals as she grows, and taking care of her laundry and bedroom.
The family is looking for someone who can show initiative and create a stimulating environment where their daughter can learn and thrive through play and exploration. The ideal candidate will have many years experience as a childcare.
This is a permanent position with an immediate start date. The pay is £15 gross per hour for live-out candidates or £700 gross per week for live-in candidates.
If you are a dedicated and engaging nanny who is passionate about supporting a child’s development, we would love to hear from you.
