A warm and welcoming family recently relocated to Lindfield is looking for a highly experienced, professional nanny to join them in a temporary, part-time, shared care role, with the possibility of extending or even becoming permanent for the right person. This is a crucial role for the family during a time of transition, and they are specifically seeking someone with a minimum of 10 years’ hands-on nanny experience, ideally with both toddlers and newborns. The position is available from May 2025 (or sooner if possible) and will run for 6–8 weeks. You’ll be supporting their lovely and active 2-year-old, who adores time outside at the park, while also offering calm, reliable support to Mum as she prepares to welcome a new baby.
The ideal candidate will be exceptionally confident and capable, with a strong sense of personal hygiene, excellent initiative, and a genuinely nurturing nature. This family needs someone who can step in with quiet confidence, read the room, and intuitively know how to help, from play and routine with their toddler to offering thoughtful support around the home. Strong childcare qualifications, an enhanced DBS check, and up-to-date paediatric first aid certification is essential.
The family offers flexibility around which three days you work and can tailor the schedule to suit the right person, typically around 8 hours per day. Driving is not required. There is one gentle, friendly dog in the home. Confidence in family cooking and batch meal prep is important, and a second language would be a welcome bonus.
