A warm and welcoming family in St Albans, Hertfordshire is seeking a caring, energetic part-time nanny to look after their 9-year-old daughter. She is a bright and creative child who loves reading, drawing, crafts, and listening to music.
The role is for two afternoons per week, 15.00 – 20.00 (10 hours/week). Thursday is a fixed day, with the second day flexible to suit both you and the family.
Before you pick her up from school, there will be time to help keep her organised. Your responsibilities will include:
• Providing attentive care and fun and engaging activities for their daughter
• Taking care of nursery duties such as her laundry and keeping her bedroom organised (the family employs a cleaner)
• Helping the household run smoothly between cleans – e.g., emptying the dishwasher and ensuring rooms are tidy at the end of the day
• Preparing healthy, nutritious meals, ideally home-cooked. If time allows, some batch cooking would be a bonus.
• Making sure she has everything needed for the following day (uniform, sports kit, packed lunch, etc)
The family requires a careful and confident driver with a clean licence and your own fully insured car. Duty mileage will be reimbursed.
