Are you a kind, happy and fun nanny looking for work during the school holidays only?
This professional and friendly family living in Broxbourne, Hertfordshire is looking for a school holiday nanny to take care of their wonderful little boy who is nearly four years old. They also have a friendly Cockerpoo dog who is part of their family too. They would like someone who will fit in well and become part of their happy family.
You will be required in the school holidays only, on a Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 09.30-15.30 each day. This will be for approximately 18 weeks each year. There could also be some ad hoc occasional days and babysitting, which will be paid as overtime at the hourly rate.
The parents are keen for their little boy to learn and develop in a balanced way, to help them to hit his various developmental milestones – with lots of stimulating and educational indoor fun (reading stories, jigsaws, craft, singing, imaginary games, etc) mixed with plenty of outside play and walks to the park. The family is happy for you to go on fun outings (soft play, farm, etc) and to visit friends, so he can mix with other children, always keeping him safe and happy.
Although general care of the little boy is the main priority, this role may include a few nursery duties too. These duties will include, keeping his areas tidy and organised and making sure you leave all areas used tidy at the end of the day. You will also provide him with healthy and nutritious meals each day. Any help to keep the house running smoothly would be appreciated, emptying the dishwasher, making sure all rooms used are tidy at the end of the day, running the occasional errand, etc. The family also employs a weekly cleaner.
You will need to be a careful and confident driver, with a clean licence and your own fully insured car. Duty mileage will be paid.
