Fixed term Nanny mothers help role in Winchester, SO22

This family are looking for a fixed term nanny mothers help to assist with the running of the home and supporting mum with their little 10 month old son. The role is Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm, 40 hours per week. This is a shared care, live out position.

Duties to include ensuring the little boy is happy and safe, creating age appropriate activities to help him reach developmental milestones and all usual nursery duties, keeping children’s areas tidy etc.
As well as helping with laundry, light cleaning, housekeeping and walking the families small dog. The ideal mothers help will be patient, positive and kind; someone who is happy to work alongside mum but also to be in sole charge at times if needed.

They are looking for a confident driver, who will be join both mum and baby at local classes/groups, to the park etc. The little boy also enjoys reading, rhymes and exploring outside.

With the role being temporary, the family are open someone working on either an employed or self-employed basis.

Minimum experience Level for this job: Minimum of two years professional childcare experience with a similar age
Details of any training needed for this job: Paediatric first aid
Details of any qualifications needed for this job: Ideally a formal childcare qualification however, not essential
Hours of work: 8 hours a day
Days required: 5 days a week
Pets in the home: One small dog
Driving required: Driver required, ideally with own car
Job Start Date: Monday 13th July 2026
Job End Date: Monday 24th August 2026
Pay: Up to £20 gross per hour. Up to £800 gross per week
