The role is Monday to Friday, approx. 60 hours per week, 7am to 7pm with flexibility during the day time. They would ideally like someone open to ad hoc babysitting, although will initially have a night nanny for the newborn.

The accommodation provided is a fully self-contained private annex above the garage. The annex has recently been refurbished and includes a kitchen, living room, bedroom and en-suite bathroom, offering a high degree of independence and privacy.

Duties to include nursery drop off/pick up, preparing healthy meals/snacks, taking to classes, creating age appropriate activities at home to help encourage developmental milestones and planning fun and enjoyable trips out. As well as being an extra pair of hands by assisting mum with the baby where needed (the nanny will need to have excellent newborn baby experience and knowledge of best practice current guidelines)
It is important the Nanny is confident working both shared care and sole charge, to enable mum to spend time with the older children one on one. The eldest loves cars and being outdoors, and is starting to get into sports. Whilst their daughter enjoys reading and loves to join in with her big brother.
The role will include usual nursery duties however the family have a long term housekeeper, so no cleaning etc would be required.

The ideal Nanny would be someone warm, calm, pro-active and highly capable who is genuinely looking for a long-term role within a family environment. They really value emotional intelligence, initiative, strong organisational skills and a nurturing but confident approach to childcare
