Part time SEN Nanny housekeeper role in Havant PO9
A qualified SEN nanny housekeeper is needed to care for two happy boys who are almost 4 and 6 years old. During the term time, the role will be 3 afternoons per week (nanny’s choice of days) 2.30-6.30pm, a Saturday morning 8am-12 midday, plus 4 additional hours of housekeeping duties per week (undertaken at a time suitable for the candidate). In the school holidays the role will be 3 full days, 8 hours per day. (20 hours per week in the term time, 24 hours per week in the school holidays). Salary will be calculated based on total annualised hours and paid in equal monthly instalments. This family would consider a nanny with their own child accompanying them to work.
This position requires a candidate who has SEN experience as both boys are autistic. The eldest child is non-verbal and has a developmental age equivalent to approximately 2 years. He has allergies to dairy and soya, and requires the use of nappies. The youngest is highly verbal and inquisitive, he does require some sensory support. The eldest boy attends a specialist setting, the nanny will be required to collect both boys (nanny car provided) or take the train if they cannot drive. (Train station is close to the family home). After school routine including homework, dinner, bathtime etc. in the week, Saturday morning routine to include clubs, birthday parties etc. Housekeeping/cleaning and food prep (4 hours to be completed at a time suited to suit the candidate) will also be required. The family have two elderly cats who will mainly stay away unless they want a cuddle!
Both boys love to be outdoors (they have a large garden) and enjoy swimming, going to the seaside and being active.

Driving required: No, nanny can be a driver or use the train
Job Start Date: ASAP
Pay: Up to £20gph depending on qualification level, SEN and similar experience. Average annual gross salary of up to £21,840
Benefits: Additional paid leave between Christmas and New Year. Holiday entitlement increases by one extra paid day each year the nanny remains in employment. Ongoing professional development related to the children will be funded by the family.
