A fabulous full time nanny role has become available in Stokenchurch, Buckinghamshire.
The family is extremely friendly, both professionals, and have a love of the outdoors. They are looking for a kind, nurturing and fun nanny who can stay long term and become part of their happy family.
Although Mum works from home, and Dad occasionally too, this will be a sole charge role, looking after one delightful baby girl, aged one.
The hours will be 08.00-18.00, Monday-Friday. There may need to be some flexibility due to work commitments, e.g. if the parents have early work meetings, this will always be agreed with as much notice as possible.
The parents are keen for their baby to learn and develop in a balanced way, to help her hit her various developmental milestones – with lots of educational and stimulating indoor fun (reading stories, sensory play, singing, age-appropriate games, etc) mixed with plenty of outside play in their large garden and walks in the countryside. They would like to avoid any kind of screen time, believing there are so many other fun and educational things to do. As the baby grows, they would also like you to meet up with friends for play dates, groups and activities to allow their little girl to mix with other children, ensuring that she is always happy and safe. There are a number of great play spaces and parks, in close proximity to the home, which will give much variety to both you and baby.
You must be a confident and careful driver, with a clean licence. A car will be provided for use while on duty.
As they employ a weekly cleaner, this role will be nursery duties only, but some help to keep the house running smoothly would be appreciated – emptying the dishwasher, making sure all rooms used are tidy at the end of the day, etc.
As well as general care of the baby and keeping all areas used by her clean and tidy (kitchen, baby’s room, playroom, etc), the nursery duties are to include keeping on top of her laundry. You will also be responsible for preparing her bottles. You will be assisting in giving the baby meals, which are mostly prepared by mum freshly on the day. Occasionally you will be asked to prepare meals as well. Knowledge of weaning and potty training is essential.
