A fabulous full time, twelve month fixed term, live out nanny position is becoming available, working with a professional and friendly family who live in Chalfont St Peter, Buckinghamshire.
Starting at the end of July 2025, the hours of the role will be Monday to Friday, 07.30-18.00 (52.5 hours/week).
You will be looking after a wonderful one-year-old little boy, as Mum transitions back to work after maternity leave. This will be a sole charge role.
The family is looking for a traditional, reliable nanny with good family values and plenty of common sense. They feel the most important thing is to find a nanny who will fit well into their lives. The nanny should be a team player, a good communicator, creative and with a real interest in child development and childhood milestones.
The parents are keen for their little boy to learn and develop in a balanced way, with plenty of indoor and outdoor activities including trips to the park and baby groups, always ensuring happiness and safety.
The role will include nursery duties. This includes tasks such as general childcare, the baby’s laundry and keeping his bedroom and play areas organised and tidy.
Although there is a weekly cleaner, any help to keep the house running smoothly would be appreciated (keeping the kitchen tidy, emptying the dishwasher, running the occasional errand, etc).
You will be responsible for preparing healthy and nutritious meals for the baby, preferably homemade whenever possible. You should have full knowledge of weaning and potty training. At the end of the day, you will help oversee bathtime and leave all used rooms tidy, ready for the parents to take over.
You should be a careful and confident driver with a clean driving licence and your own fully insured car. Duty mileage will be paid.
