The Nanny and Childcare Specialists

A wonderful opportunity has become available for an experienced, warm and proactive live-out nanny to join a friendly, professional family of four in Bourne End, Buckinghamshire.

The family are looking for someone who will become a valued part of family life, providing a happy, structured and nurturing environment for their two daughters, aged 7 and 4.

The girls are active, curious and love spending time outdoors. They enjoy activities including netball, swimming, arts and crafts, and imaginative play. The ideal nanny will genuinely enjoy engaging with children, encouraging their development and creating fun, enriching experiences both at home and out and about.

This role would suit someone who is naturally organised, calm and dependable, and who takes pride in helping a busy household run smoothly while building a warm and trusting relationship with the children.

You will be required to work the following hours:

Term Time (39 weeks per year)
• Monday to Friday
• 1:00pm – 6:30pm
• 27.5 hours per week

School Holidays (13 weeks per year)
• Monday to Friday
• 7:30am – 6:30pm
• 55 hours per week

Salary will be paid equally throughout the year, providing a consistent monthly income despite the variation in hours between term time and school holidays.

The successful nanny will be responsible for:

• Collecting the children from school
• Planning fun, engaging and age-appropriate activities during the school holidays
• Organising outings and playdates where appropriate
• Supporting the children’s emotional wellbeing and development
• Ensuring the children are happy, safe and well cared for at all times
• Assisting with homework and encouraging reading as they progress through school

As well as caring for the children, the nanny will play an important role in helping family life run smoothly. Duties will include:

• Children’s laundry and wardrobe organisation
• Keeping the children’s bedrooms, play areas and belongings clean, tidy and well organised
• Preparing school uniforms, sports kits and everything needed for the following day
• Preparing healthy, nutritious meals and snacks for the children
• Batch cooking for the children
• Emptying and loading the dishwasher and keeping the kitchen organised after children’s meals
• Maintaining tidy family living areas used throughout the day
• Anticipating the children’s needs and helping the household remain organised and well prepared

The family employs a weekly cleaner, so no deep cleaning is required. However, they are looking for someone who takes pride in leaving children’s and shared family spaces tidy and organised at the end of each day.

The nanny should be a careful and confident driver with a clean driving licence and their own fully insured car. Duty mileage will be paid.
There may also be occasional additional hours or babysitting by mutual agreement, which will be paid separately.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced nanny who is looking for a long-term position with a welcoming family who will value their experience, initiative and commitment.
