A wonderful opportunity for a warm, professional and development-focused nanny seeking a long-term, full-time position with a welcoming family in East Molesey, Surrey.
The family are looking for an experienced nanny to care for their bright, active and engaging 2.5-year-old son. The hours are Tuesday to Saturday, 8.30am–7.00/7.30pm, and they are hoping to find someone who will become an integral part of family life and is comfortable working in a home where both parents are present and involved.
For the foreseeable future, the majority of the little boy’s care will be based at home while Mum undergoes treatment. His days are filled with plenty of fresh air and activity, including daily walks, time in the garden, forest-school-style activities and lots of fun, age-appropriate developmental play and learning. The ideal nanny will have a genuine passion for child development and enjoy creating engaging activities that encourage curiosity, confidence and independence.
The family do employ a cleaner, but would appreciate a nanny who is happy to take responsibility for family laundry, keeping the home tidy and general nursery duties, as well as preparing healthy and nutritious meals for their son.
Once Mum has completed her treatment, the role will naturally evolve, with more outings, classes and activities becoming part of the little boy’s routine. At this stage, the family anticipate that the Saturday could potentially be dropped. However, for the foreseeable future, it is essential that the successful candidate is genuinely comfortable and happy with the current set-up.
