Two Day, Live Out, Nanny, Bedford, Bedfordshire

April 22, 2026 | Comments Off on Two Day, Live Out, Nanny, Bedford, Bedfordshire

Are you a kind, happy, and active nanny who loves to have fun?

A fabulous two-day, live-out, sole-charge nanny position has become available with a professional and welcoming family in Bedford. You should be a dog lover, as the family has a friendly Labrador who would enjoy a walk whenever possible.

The hours will be 07:00–18:00 on Monday and Tuesday (22 hours per week). There may also be occasional additional hours for babysitting, which will be mutually agreed and paid as overtime. The role could alternatively work as a Monday–Friday after-school position from 15:00–18:00 (15 hours per week), with the salary adjusted accordingly.

You will be responsible for caring for three happy children: a boy aged eight and his two sisters, aged four and three. The two eldest children are at school, so your main daytime care will be with the youngest. The girls enjoy arts, crafts, and anything involving glitter, while the little boy loves being outdoors, shooting goals, or reading a book. A crafty, football-playing nanny would be ideal!

You should be someone who enjoys planning fun and educational activities, such as story time at the library or taking the dog to feed the ducks. Even pairing socks from the laundry or choosing what to have for dinner at the shops can be turned into fun activities.

The family employs a cleaner each week, so your responsibilities will include nursery duties such as the children’s laundry and ironing, maintaining the children’s bedrooms and toys, and preparing healthy, nutritious meals for the children each day. You will also oversee any homework, uniform, sports kit, or costumes needed for school, encouraging the children to help whenever possible.

You will end the day with the dinner and bath routine, ensuring that all used rooms are left tidy and ready for when the parents return from work. However, the family’s main priority is that the children are happy, stimulated, and loved.

You should be a careful and confident driver with a clean licence. A car is available for use while on duty.

If you are a kind, caring, fun, organised nanny who is responsible, reliable, and has strong family values, this could be the perfect role for you.

Full Time Nanny, Kensington, London

April 20, 2026 | Comments Off on Full Time Nanny, Kensington, London

A warm, down-to-earth family based in Kensington are seeking an experienced and nurturing nanny to start ASAP to care for their baby, who is 5 months old. The role is Monday-Friday 8am-7pm. This is a sole charge position, although mum will often be around, and the ideal candidate will be confident working both independently and alongside parents.
The family currently have a maternity nurse in place, so they are looking for someone with strong baby experience who can seamlessly take over and support their child’s development and daily routine.
The role requires a high level of experience and professionalism, with the ideal candidate being reliable, warm, motivated, and highly organised and tidy, with a proactive approach to childcare. Typical nursery duties required, including bottle preparation and feeding, implementing age-appropriate activities and routines, researching and proposing purchases and activities, laundering and ironing of baby items, and organising and tidying of nursery and playroom. The nanny is expected to provide a daily log of feeds, changes, development work, and any other relevant information.
Occasional proxy parenting will be required, so the nanny must be confident taking full responsibility when needed. When proxy parenting occurs, nanny must be okay overseeing the house with basic tasks such as feeding animals. The family employs a family PA and nanny for an older child, a house keeper and dog walker.
Travel with the family is an essential part of the role, so flexibility is key. The family are ideally looking for someone with excellent experience and relevant childcare qualifications, such as Norland training or equivalent.
The position is live-out, but there is the option for a live-in arrangement for the right candidate. The family home is located in a lovely, leafy part of Kensington, close to Kensington Gardens, offering a pleasant working environment with lots of indoor and outdoor activities for young ones. The family also have cats and a dog, so the nanny must be comfortable around animals. A driver is not required for this role.
This is a permanent position with a welcoming family looking for a long-term nanny to become a valued and trusted part of their household.
The family are offering a salary of between £20-23 gross per hour.
