We are so excited and delighted to have won three National 2021 Quality Franchise Association Virtual Franchise Awards. The QFA VFA awards are an outstanding acknowledgement of all our hard work to support our Franchise network during 2020 – it was a very tough year! We have so much to be thankful for, and we dedicate these awards to our Network of Franchisees, who have found resilience throughout the pandemic, providing their exceptional recruitment services to families throughout the UK and internationally.
The Virtual Franchising Awards are sponsored by Barclays. Competition was extremely strong, and it was very tough for the 5 judges to choose the winners. The awards received over 170 entries from Franchisors and Franchisees in the UK.

Here is a little more about our journey and ethos…
How do you create a flourishing business from home? The UK and International Nanny and Household Staffing Agency Harmony at Home knows the secret—and flexibility to work around your home life is an important part of the formula.
Founded in 2004, by Norland Nanny and mother of three, Frankie Gray, the company has experienced 16 years of unparalleled growth to become one of the most highly regarded Nanny and Household Staffing Agencies in the business. The Harmony at Home brand also includes an extremely successful Children’s Boutique, as well as a dedicated Nanny Academy. So, how do they do it?
“As a mother of three,” explains Founder and Director, Frankie Gray, “I completely understand the pressures of modern family life. The regular nine till five model just doesn’t fit anymore, particularly for working mums and dads. So, at Harmony at Home, we’re proud to offer an alternative flexible working model, which empowers you to take control of your own successful business, alongside giving you all the tools, knowhow and support needed for you to thrive.”
“There are too many talented women and men out there,” continues Frankie Gray, “whose ambitions and dreams have remained unfulfilled, due to inflexible work practices. This is bad for them, their families, and for the economy.”
By tapping into this rich vein of talent, Frankie Gray has built up a thriving network of entrepreneurs who really appreciate the benefits of being their own bosses using the Flexible Working Franchise model.
“Owning my own business,” explains Philippa Day, owner of Harmony at Home Nanny Agency Berkshire, “has affected my life in such a positive way. I can now be as successful as I choose to be; and the harder I work, and the more passionate I am about my job, the better my own personal family life becomes. And, as a working mum, I can also spend more quality time with my children.”
But, it doesn’t stop there. The Harmony at Home flexible model also recognises that many nannies and childcare workers have their own children.
“Our services are tailored to incorporate all work seekers, including Nannies and Household Staff with children of their own,” explains Frankie Gray. “We welcome everyone to register with us, subject to the statutory checks, and we actively place hundreds of Nannies and Household Staff, with their own children, in happy households each year—including my own!”
