Celebrating 20 Years of Harmony at Home Nanny and Household Staffing Agency

Harmony at Home® are proud to hold an Annual Conference and Awards each year for learning, and celebration and this year we are celebrating 20 years of Harmony at Home Nanny and Household Staff Agency!
We were delighted to hold this year’s Conference in Westminster, London on the 18th-19th April 2024. This year was not to be missed, with a whole host of fabulous guest speakers along with sponsors, interactive training sessions and our Annual Awards Celebration, the network thoroughly enjoyed getting together to collaborate and catch up.
Ali Braid, The Recruitment Trainer began the Conference with the first training session of the day, providing a hugely insightful training session on mindset, looking at growth and success in detail. This year’s Conference focused on ‘self-belief’ and ‘believing in what you do’, a fundamental element to happiness and success.
Ali was followed by some fantastic training from Stacey Cann, Franchise Strategist. Stacey continued the theme of empowering the franchisees to believe in themselves, grow their businesses and continue to be successful. Stacey is the owner of two Daisy First Aid Franchises. Daisy First aid were one of our conference sponsors.
We enjoyed learning more about Worldpay and how this platform could help our franchisees from Dale Ward and then Kirsty Wild and Isabella Milne took to the floor giving further insight into the work that NannyTax and StaffTax do and how they can be on hand for our franchisees.
Training continued with a wonderful session on using your phone for photography from Alex Rickard, teaching the franchisees top tips for using the camera on their phone, along with a deeper dive into lighting and framing photographs. This session ended with each franchisee putting their newfound skills into practice.
Lastly, Frankie Gray and Charlotte Maggs, sat down for a ‘Fireside Chat’ with four of our wonderful franchisees, Philippa Day, Kate Rich, Jo Vowles and Zoe Fearnley which proved to be insightful, informative, and fun giving the whole network front row seats into the way in which each of these franchisees run their business. We delved deeper into their top tips for self-belief, the things they find most rewarding and secrets to their success, along with their tips for building relationships and mistakes they wish they could have avoided. An invaluable session which the whole network enjoyed and gained something from, no matter the stage in their journey with Harmony at Home.

The day’s events concluded with a Celebratory Dinner which enabled everyone to continue networking and sharing their own insightful knowledge. Getting the franchisees together to network is one of the most important highlights of the year and we are already looking forward to our Christmas get together!
