The Nanny and Childcare Specialists

Permanent Nanny needed for Newborn Twins, and their older brother in Medbourne, Leicestershire.

A lovely family of 5 are looking for a permanent Nanny. They have newborn twins – currently 7 weeks, and older brother (3) and are looking for an experienced and flexible nanny to join their household. The role will primarily be a shared care position, as mum and dad both want to be involved with the children.

Big brother attends nursery nearby and support is needed to get him ready before drop-off, and also to support with bathtime and bedtime. Mum and dad intend to cover pick-up and drop offs to nursery.
The family would like an extra pair of hands to assist them and to help ensure that all 3 children get plenty of individual support and attention: as this is a long-term role a candidate who is confident building a bond, and creating activities with the oldest child will be as necessary as competent knowledge and support for the twins.

A Nanny who has a muck-in attitude, and who is willing to support with whatever tasks may be required, including housekeeping duties will be highly desirable. Supporting the family with light cleaning, hoovering, laundry and cooking in addition to standard nursery duties, are all expected to be required as part of the role; the family expect this will make up around 2 hours work per day. Due to the rural location a driver will be required to get to the family home, but driving is not essential as part of the role. The family also have a cat.

As the family are still getting into the swing of their new routine, they currently need support in the mornings and evenings. As a result, the family are currently looking for a Nanny to come between 7am and 10am and again between 4pm and 8pm, but as the twins grow and the routine changes these hours are likely to change and the support may be needed through the day instead. Therefore, a Nanny willing to be flexible on the days/hours required as the months go on, would be greatly appreciated. Any changes will naturally be subject to discussion to ensure they work for everyone.
Requests for ad-hoc babysitting/weekend hours to enable the parents to spend some time together may be requested, and travel may also be needed in the future so candidates should be open to working additional hours where needed.

The family are currently living in Medbourne, while their own home in Hallaton is renovated and they expect to move home in March 2027, the family would like the Nanny to remain after the move so ability to work in both locations (6 minutes’ drive apart) is essential. The family are looking for a kind and dedicated professional looking to support the family on a long-term basis.
