This busy, warm family live in a beautiful rural setting in Upper Bucklebury, with a big garden, horses, play areas and plenty of space to explore outdoors. Mum work from home in an office in the grounds while Dad commutes to London to run his business. They are looking for a kind, organised and reliable nanny to join their family and help their two children grow up happy, healthy and curious. The daughter is 2 years old (she turns 3 in January) and spends two days a week at a local nursery. The son is 4 years old ( he turns 5 in December) and at a local primary school. There will be daily school runs, and they will provide a car on duty .This family also have two friendly cats who are independent. Childcare duties • Keeping the children happy, healthy and well cared for throughout the day • Cooking fresh, nutritious meals and snacks from scratch • School and nursery drop offs and pick-ups • Lots of outdoor play and fresh air, making the most of the garden and countryside • Supporting homework, reading together and encouraging their development through play • A screen free approach, so creativity and imagination are a big part of everyday. Usual nursery duties on the two days the 2 year old is at nursery, the focus moves to keeping the home running smoothly: • Keeping the house clean and tidy – although they do have a cleaner that also come once a week• Laundry and changing beds • Batch cooking and preparing family meals • Keeping on top of groceries and household supplies . They are looking for a nanny with a natural affinity with children and a warm, fun and nurturing manner • Very organised, with an eye for keeping a home running well • Trustworthy, discreet and always punctual • Personable and easy to communicate with • This nice role is Monday-Friday and the hours are 8am-6pm with a salary of £35K gross per annum to start in November.
