This welcoming family in the Trent Park area on the outskirts of London are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented housekeeper to work 12-8 Monday to Thursday to manage daily household upkeep and ensure a clean and organised environment for this family who have two children aged 4 &6. They are looking for an ASAP start and driving is essential for the role for school picks ups, although this will not be required everyday. The salary on offer is up to £25 gph DOE.
Duties will include deep cleaning and maintenance of the house, such as vacuuming, dusting, polishing, mopping and organisation of storage areas, as well as undertaking family laundry, bed changing and ironing. Cooking and food prep of balanced/nutritious meals will also be required, mainly for the children, but if someone was happy to cook or prepare extra food for the family that would be desirable. Other household duties will include refilling supplies, ordering groceries, receiving deliveries and generally assisting with keeping the household ticking along.
Aside from housekeeping duties which make up the majority of the hours, the candidate will need to assist with childcare after school (kids are home just after 5pm), such as occasional school pick ups, supervising homework, providing dinner, and helping with evening routines including bath and getting ready for bedtime. Occasional pre arranged babysitting will also be needed.
They are looking for someone proactive, who takes initiative and who fits seamlessly into family life, with a keen eye for detail. Furthermore they’d like someone nurturing and warm for the children and who can provide a happy home environment for them after busy school days. There are no pets and no travel required. The family live in a beautifully leafy location in the middle of the park with close proximity to Oakwood tube station.
