An exciting opportunity has arisen for a thoughtful and confident nanny to care for three delightful children, aged six months, four and eight years, in Glemsford, Suffolk.
The family are looking for a warm and nurturing nanny who is confident caring for a young baby and enjoys providing attentive, engaging and age-appropriate support.
The main responsibility will be caring for the six-month-old baby, so previous infant experience and a gentle approach to childcare are essential. Duties will include bottle feeding, preparing and cleaning bottles, preparing healthy, balanced meals and snacks, and keeping the baby comfortable, happy and content. The nanny will also provide plenty of age-appropriate play and stimulation, as well as taking the baby out for walks and enjoying time outdoors.
During the school holidays, the nanny will also look after the older children, aged four and eight, although they often attend holiday clubs. When they are not attending clubs, the nanny will plan fun and engaging activities for them.
The nanny should also be happy to travel with the family approximately one night per month, staying overnight on a Sunday and providing care for the baby on the Monday. Travel may be to different locations around the country, so flexibility and a willingness to travel are important.
A careful and confident driver with a full, clean driving licence is essential. Mileage incurred whilst carrying out work-related duties will be reimbursed.
