A lovely first-time family are looking for an experienced and knowledgeable newborn professional to provide part-time, daily support with their three-week-old baby.
The family are seeking someone who is confident and experienced with newborns and able to take sole charge of the baby, providing calm and capable care while allowing the mother some time to rest, recover and focus on herself.
The ideal candidate will be up to date with current NHS guidance and safer sleep practices, and confident in supporting and respecting the mother’s individual feeding choices. A warm, reassuring approach and the ability to work collaboratively with first-time parents are essential.
This is a wonderful opportunity for an experienced newborn nanny or maternity professional to build a long-term relationship with the family. Initially, the role will be for two days per week, with the potential to increase to additional days as the family’s needs develop.
Ideally, the successful candidate will be local to the family and looking for a long-term position, although the family are also open to candidates who may be looking for a shorter-term contract. This is a lovely opportunity for someone who is passionate about newborn care and would enjoy becoming a trusted part of the family’s support network.

Gross 24 hourly Rate: £20ph gross
Hours of work: Up to 6 hours per day
Days required: 2 days a week (could increase)
Specialist or expert required: Certified Maternity Practitioner
Minimum experience Level for this job: 5yrs experience within the role
Details of any qualifications needed for this job: 12hr First Aid, Enhanced DBS, Maternity Practitioner Certificate (L3 minimum) and or Childcare L3.
