A lovely family expecting their second baby is seeking an experienced Maternity Night Nanny to provide overnight support for approximately six weeks following the birth.
The family are looking for a calm, confident, and knowledgeable professional who can offer exceptional newborn care while helping to establish a gentle and responsive routine that suits both the baby and the family. As experienced parents, they value a candidate who is proactive, reassuring, and able to provide expert support during the night.
The family also have an older toddler; however, no care or support will be required for the older child, as your role will be solely focused on the newborn throughout the placement.
The mother intends to breastfeed but is also happy to introduce a bottle overnight if needed. The successful candidate should be experienced in supporting breastfeeding mothers while remaining flexible and supportive of the family’s feeding preferences.
The ideal candidate must be fully up to date with current NHS guidance and The Lullaby Trust’s safe sleep recommendations and be committed to delivering evidence-based care. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Maternity Night Nanny who is passionate about supporting families through the early newborn period, helping the baby settle into healthy sleep habits, and ensuring the whole family gets the best possible start.
Job Start Date: 4th January 2027
Contract End Date: 12th February 2027
Location: Ealing, London
Gross hourly Rate: £25ph
Hours of work: 9pm -7am or 10pm – 8am
Days required: 2-3 nights per week
Specialist or expert required: Qualified Maternity Practitioner
Minimum experience Level for this job: 5yrs experience within the role
Details of any qualifications needed for this job: 12hr First Aid, Enhanced DBS, Maternity Practitioner (L3 minimum), Safeguarding L2.
