A fabulous part time housekeeping position has become available, looking after the home of a friendly family of four in Amersham, Buckinghamshire. This role will suit someone who is organised, dedicated, and passionate about maintaining high standards in a warm and friendly home environment.
The hours of the role will be Monday to Friday, 10.00-15.00 (25 hours/week). The exact timings can be discussed to suit the candidate.
Key responsibilities:
• Daily cleaning, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and cleaning the bathrooms and kitchen
• Organising cupboards and wardrobe management
• Household laundry and ironing
• Changing bed linen
• Organising groceries and household supplies
• Preparing a family friendly dinner each day
• Receiving deliveries and liaising with contractors
• Performing other ad hoc duties to ensure the smooth running of the household
• Running errands (post office, dry cleaning, etc)
• Watering plants
The ideal candidate will have:
• Previous experience working as a housekeeper
• Keen eye for detail
• A positive, “can-do” attitude
• A hardworking, proactive, and highly organised approach
• Strong communication skills
• Trustworthiness, reliability, and discretion
• Empathy and a caring nature
• Excellent, checkable references
• Fluency in English and full rights to work in the UK
• Their own fully insured car, with a clean driving licence (duty mileage to be paid)

Pay: £26,000 gross per annum / mutually agreed overtime to be paid at £20 gross per hour (If self-employed, which is preferred, the salary will be £23 net per hour)
