Website Harmony at home Maternity
A lovely first-time family is seeking an experienced and reassuring maternity practitioner to provide overnight support following the arrival of their newborn.
The parents are incredibly excited to welcome their baby and are looking for a knowledgeable professional to guide and support them as they navigate the early days of parenthood. The baby was born via Caesarean section, and the family would like overnight support as soon as possible. Mum is not planning to breastfeed, so the focus of the role will be on providing exceptional overnight newborn care, supporting Mum’s recovery, and giving both parents the opportunity to rest.
The family is initially looking for a small number of night shifts each week, with the possibility of increasing to three nights per week as they settle into their new routine. They are keen to build a trusting relationship with a maternity practitioner who can offer continuity of care.
The ideal candidate will hold a recognised maternity practitioner qualification and be fully up to date with current NHS guidance and The Lullaby Trust’s safer sleep recommendations. The family hopes to establish a gentle, baby-led routine and would like someone who will keep them informed, provide reassurance, and support them in making confident decisions about their baby’s care.
This is a wonderful opportunity for a warm, experienced, and communicative maternity practitioner who enjoys supporting first-time parents and helping them gain confidence during those precious early weeks.
