Emergency Temporary Nanny Near Hay on Wye, Herefordshire

A warm and busy family with three boys aged 15, 13, and 8 months is seeking a temporary
nanny to provide support while their Norland Nanny is off sick. This role involves working closely
alongside the mother and house manager to help ensure the smooth running of the household
and maintain established routines.
The nanny will assist with a range of daily duties, including school runs for the older boys, as
well as accompanying them to various activities and appointments. Support with the baby’s
routine is also key, including meal times, play, and naps, all carried out in partnership with the
mother, as the baby is currently breastfed.
The family would greatly appreciate help with light meal preparation, contributing to the overall
flow of the day. This is a collaborative position suited to someone who is confident working
within a team, adaptable, and proactive in meeting the needs of a dynamic household.
The ideal candidate will be organised, supportive, and capable of integrating smoothly into an
established structure, helping to keep the family’s busy weekly schedule running efficiently.
Location of the job: Near Hay-on-Wye, Herefordshire
Hours of work: 8am – 6pm
Days required: Tuesday – Friday
Pets in the home: 2 dogs and chickens
Driving required: Yes, own care on duty preferred
Job Start Date: Tuesday 12th May 2026
Job End Date: Friday 15th May 2026
Pay: £25 gross per hour
