Temporary Nanny in May for two children in Hereford, Herefordshire

This is a temporary position supporting a warm and welcoming family while one parent is away for work. The role will involve working alongside the children’s father to ensure the day-to-day routine runs smoothly and consistently.
The family have two children aged 5 and 2. Their eldest daughter is full of personality and enjoys gymnastics, horses and playing with her Barbies. She attends school during the day. Her younger brother, who attends nursery three days a week, is independent, communicative and beginning to develop his own interests.
The home offers a fantastic playroom on the top floor, which the nanny will have full scope to organise and set up to best support the children’s development and interests.
During school and nursery hours, responsibilities will include children’s meal preparation, organising children’s areas, preparing for the evening routine and ensuring everything is ready for the following day.
Strong communication skills are essential, as the nanny will work closely with the children’s father to maintain a positive, supportive and well-structured environment throughout the placement.
Location of the job: Hereford, Herefordshire
Hours of work: 8am – 8pm
Days required: 18th May – 22nd May 2026
Pets in the home: 1 dog
Driving required: yes, own car essential
Job Start Date: Monday 18th May 2026
Job End Date: Friday 22nd May 2026
Pay: £25 gross per hour
