Full time Mother’s help nanny role near Old Alresford, SO24
This family are looking for a fixed term Mother’s help nanny to help with their 3 year old little boy and newborn baby. The hours are 8am to 7pm, 4 days a week (between Monday to Friday). Days will depend on dad’s rota, which they will have 3 months in advance. The role could also be worked as a spilt shift if someone wished. It is a shared care position however, the nanny must be confident working sole charge caring for one or both children at times if needed.
They are open to having someone on either an employed or self-employed basis.
The ideal nanny will be kind, fun and positive, with a muck in attitude who is happy to work alongside mum. They will need to have excellent newborn baby experience and knowledge of best practice current guidelines. Someone who is active and organised would be a great match, to help entertain and plan fun days in the school holidays for their son, whether that be playing football, trips to the park or creating appropriate activities at home. As well as being an extra pair of hands with the young baby.
Duties to include nursery pick-up, preparing healthy meals/snacks, assisting with settling the baby for naps, sterilising, nappy care and all usual nursery duties (children’s laundry, keeping children’s areas tidy etc). There is no cleaning or heavy housekeeping duties, as they have someone to do this already.
This is a fixed term position until their previous nanny returns, there is the possibility the position could be extended if anything changes.
