Meticulous Daily Housekeeper for family home in Abbots Bromley, Staffordshire

A warm, busy and outdoorsy family are seeking an experienced and proactive Housekeeper to
join their large country home. This is primarily a housekeeping role (approximately 70%) with
some nanny support (30%), working alongside Mum.
The ideal candidate will confidently manage a well-lived-in household, using initiative to keep
everything running smoothly. Duties include full laundry and ironing (including designer
garments), wardrobe organisation and seasonal changes, bed changing, daily cleaning and
deeper tasks throughout the home. Stock control of household items, occasional errands, dry
cleaning runs and light PA / home office administration will also form part of the role.
Childcare responsibilities will include caring for a 4-month-old while Mum is with her horses, so
proven experience with babies is essential. There may be opportunities for additional
babysitting, house sitting and occasional travel, including ski trips.
The family have two lively German Pointers and horses on site, so a love of animals and
confidence in a rural environment is important. Care for the dogs will be required including
feeding and walking.
This is a busy, informal and welcoming household seeking someone organised, practical and
positive who thrives in a dynamic setting.

Hours of work: 6 hours a day starting at either 9am or 10am.

Pay: £31,200 gross per annum
