Temporary Nanny for 1 year old in Newent, Forest of Dean

A warm and reliable nanny is required on a temporary basis to support a family caring for their
one-year-old daughter. This role is focused on providing attentive, developmentally appropriate
care within a calm and structured home environment.
The position centres on supporting the child’s daily physical care routines, including bathing,
nap routines, and organising age-appropriate play. The nanny will play an important role in
encouraging positive food routines and healthy habits. Due to a small number of allergies, all
meals will be prepared daily by mum, ensuring clarity and consistency around dietary needs.
The family is seeking a nanny who enjoys supporting early development through reading,
talking, and gentle interaction, as well as taking the child out for regular walks to encourage
curiosity and engagement with her surroundings.
The ideal candidate will be nurturing, patient, and confident with babies of this age, with a good
understanding of routine and infant development. A calm, observant approach is essential,
along with the ability to follow parental guidance closely.
