Maternity Night Nanny needed Asap, based in Chiswick, London

Role: First-time parents are seeking overnight support for their newborn son, who is four days old. The baby is feeding well, and the family is eager to learn and actively participate in his growth and development. A caring and flexible approach is essential, as is the ability to gently empower parents without taking over. Duties will involve feeding and settling the baby overnight, offering advice on infant sleep patterns, and ensuring both baby and parents are well-supported throughout the night. As a Maternity Night Nanny, your responsibilities will include offering practical advice on newborn care, establishing positive sleep routines, and supporting breastfeeding. You will be expected to work collaboratively with the parents, providing reassurance and sharing evidence-based techniques to help build their confidence as new parents.
The ideal candidate will possess experience, comprehensive knowledge, confidence, and empathy. The family prefers an individual with relevant and relatable background to provide guidance during this important stage
Job Start Date: ASAP
Length of Contract: up to 4 weeks (could extend)
Location: Chiswick
Suggested hourly rate: £20-25ph
Hours of work:9pm-6am or 10pm-7am
Days required: 3 nights per week
Specialist or expert required: Qualified Maternity Practitioner
Minimum experience Level for this job: 5yrs experience within the role
Details of any qualifications needed for this job: 12hr First Aid, DBS and Maternity Practitioner (L3 minimum).
