Maternity Night Nanny needed in April, based in Stoke Gifford, Bristol

First-time parents are seeking night-time support for when their baby arrives in April 2026. They’re looking for a maternity night nanny with experience who can help guide them through those initial weeks. The preferred candidate should have a background in night nannying, be well-versed in sleep routines, and capable of assisting with a baby-led approach. The family hope to combination feed but using bottles overnight.
The ideal candidate will be able to offer reassurance and practical advice, supporting the family as they navigate the early stages of parenthood in a caring and professional manner. Excellent communication skills and a warm, approachable attitude are valued, ensuring parents feel confident and supported as they establish their baby’s feeding and sleep routines. Flexibility is essential, as the role involves varying nights across a 10-week period, with potential to extend.
The family are keen to have someone who is available for the following nights:
– 4 nights a week for the first 2 weeks following baby’s birth
– 3 nights a week for 6 more weeks
– 2 nights a week for 2 further weeks

Job Start Date: Early April 2026
Length of Contract: 10 weeks (could extend)
Location: Stoke Gifford, Bristol
Suggested hourly rate: £20ph gross
Hours of work: 9pm-6am or 10pm-7am
Days required: Alternate nights but always a Sunday night to start.
Specialist or expert required: Qualified Maternity Practitioner
Minimum experience Level for this job: 5yrs experience within the role
Details of any qualifications needed for this job: 12hr First Aid, DBS and Maternity Practitioner (L3 minimum).
Pets in the home: 2 x friendly Cats
Accommodation provided: Bed in the Nursery, with own bathroom. There is parking onsite.
